Nanny/House Manager Needed For 2 Children in New Orleans. (Our nanny of last few years is going back to college and having to leave in January.)
The single parent household family needs a full time nanny and or 2 part time nannies. Must love kids! Very loyal, honest, great driver, self-organized, motivated, caring, love to be active, with 2 funny energetic twin girls. Our ideal match will meet the requirements below. The Nanny will assist a family with daily childcare/household responsibilities including working in a home environment and providing household support to the entire family. Must be able to work full-time hours, on a flexible schedule. Must be able to work afternoon and early evening and 1- 2 weekends a month on Sunday afternoon for 2-3 hours.
Nanny Job Responsibilities:

• Provides customized and personalized childcare for their children in their home.
• Administers one-on-one care and meets the physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs of the children.
• Contributes to a safe, caring, nurturing, and stimulating environment in which the children thrive and develop.
• Keeps the children's areas neat and tidy and does the children's laundry, dishes.
• Transports children to and from activities, grocery shops for the children, and plans the children's daily schedule.
• May include additional household tasks, such as cleaning, light cooking, housekeeping, dishes, wiping counter tops, putting away groceries, and laundry.
• Maintains a high degree of confidentiality and privacy
• Maintains a flexible and positive attitude
• Must enjoy interacting with active children and being heavily involved in many aspects of the home life
• Be proactively engaged in the overall tone of the home and always maintain a positive attitude
• Anticipates the needs of the household
• Manages in-home projects

• Helps with meal preparation as needed
• Restocks household inventory of groceries from a list that will be provided
• Helps manage and tidy the house kitchen and laundry room, children's room, play areas
• Organizes miscellaneous personal requests on a daily basis

Work Hours & Benefits

• Typically, workdays are Monday - through Friday 30-45 hours a week~

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• Must be over 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• CPR/FA, 1 & 2 (within 6-12 months of hire), and CPI certification
• Any state-mandated certification
• Minimum one (1) year of professional or personal experience supporting children with disabilities or challenging behaviors a plus
• Must have a valid in-state driver's license, provide current registration and insurance, and have a driving record with no more than 2 points within the last 3 years
• English proficiency, any additional languages spoken are a bonus

The family is also looking for a Nanny who is patient, caring, and someone who can develop a nurturing relationship with the children.
