**Description**

**MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Assist the Financial Operations Manager and/or Shipping & Receiving Supervisor by physically checking all incoming equipment and goods.

* Verify that the correct item is received by checking all supporting paperwork to the purchase order and ensure item is free from damage.

* Receive all merchandise into USI software and determine if NOMCC asset and/or property tags are required.

Receive packages for incoming shows/clients that have not contracted a decorator and release those packages to the assigned Event Manager.

Assist in the transportation of NOMCC personnel, clients and documents as authorized by the Supervisor to ensure proper customer service for our clients as well as in-house staff.

Assist in surplus declaration and sale/disposal of assets ensuring the assets are accounted for per company policy.

Assist in the yearly shredding of company documents to ensure the proper disposal of confidential or accumulated records no longer needed by the company.

* Assist in keeping only critical records on the premises and destroying state approved expired documents to allow for storage areas to be remain organized and space to be used efficiently.

Manage the scheduled receipt of supplies, materials and equipment, resolve any issues that may arise by contacting requisitioning department and/or vendors. Update the delivery schedule accordingly. Scan receiving documents into respective folders and attach to purchase order.

Assist with maintaining departmental stock levels.

Monitor the shipping as well as the safekeeping of NOMCC equipment and supplies assigned to the SRI Department by signing out the equipment to other departments when needed.

* Properly document all items sent out for repair or warranty swap outs in the system for tracking purposes.

**Other Skills and Abilities**

Individual must possess a valid Louisiana drivers license with no more than two moving violations within a twelve month period.

Ability to learn how to operate a forklift, manual or electric pallet jack, electric cart and standard office equipment.

Gather and analyze information skillfully, prioritize and plan work activities and use time efficiently to ensure that deadlines are met.

Ability to perform under minimal supervision.

Possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
