Revenue Audit Clerk

Description:

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Daily audit of casino revenue envelopes for all gaming areas.
  2. Review source documents for compliance with minimum internal control standards and company policies.
  3. Prepare daily operating statements.
  4. Verify and record revenue for gaming and non-gaming areas.
  5. Prepare discrepancy reports for all audit exceptions noted.
  6. Investigate unusual occurrences with appropriate management.
  7. Perform related duties as assigned.
  8. Conduct self always in a manner that reflects credit on property and encourages others to do the same.

Personal Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Bilingual a plus.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
  • Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Education, Training, Experience and Licenses:

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) and Licenses; or
  • Equivalent experience; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Louisiana Racing Commission License
  • Casino Permit
