Job Summary:
Front Desk Agents at Marriott are responsible for providing a warm welcome and delivering exceptional service to guests from check-in to check-out. This role is crucial in creating a positive first impression and ensuring that all guest needs are addressed with professionalism and courtesy.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival, confirm reservations, assign rooms, and issue keys.
- Process all guest check-ins and check-outs, and handle reservations and cancellations.
- Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and surrounding areas.
- Answer phones, handle guest inquiries, and resolve any issues with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure optimal room readiness and address any guest concerns.
- Manage billing and payment processes, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
- Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hotel management or relevant field is a plus.
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in a hotel or related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations professionally.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
