We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic breakfast attendants to join our team a the beautiful One11 Hotel in New Orleans, LA.

Job Title: Breakfast Host / Attendant

Purpose for the Position: To coordinate all breakfast related operations while providing friendly and professional service.

Requirements:

  • Smile and always provide friendly and professional service, with genuine care and attention to detail.
  • Take initiative to welcome guests.
  • Exercise a sense of urgency for guest inquiries, requests and/or concerns.
  • Be knowledgeable in menu offerings and preparations.
  • Prepare, stock and ensure available food options are plentiful throughout the duration of breakfast.
  • Complete all assigned prep and side work with attention to detail.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, local and company health, safety and sanitation standards.
  • Assist in the creation and planning of menus as required.
  • Aid in the inventorying, purchasing, receiving and storage of all department items as required.
  • Help team members as needed to encourage a team atmosphere.
  • Take pride in your role in order to embody an exceptional guest service atmosphere.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

  • Be an outgoing and welcoming personality for the Hotel.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and frequently adjust accordingly.
  • Stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
  • Use logical thinking and personal judgment to perform a variety of office tasks that require special skills and knowledge.
  • Make decisions based on your own judgment and company policy.
  • Follow instructions without supervision.
  • Speak and write clearly and accurately.
  • Be available for work during days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Working Conditions & Physical Effort:

Physical requirements include extended standing and walking, climbing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and lifting to 50 lbs.
