This position will be available at the Pass Christian, MS location and report directly to the Co-op Coordinator.As a Process Engineering Co-op, you will work closely with the Manufacturing Technology team gaining valuable experience through hands-on projects in a chemical plant. You will have exposure to real-time engineering work alongside other engineers to apply what you've learned in the classroom.Location: Pass Christian, MSHours: Full-time schedule of 40 hours per weekPreferred First Term: Summer May-August 2025Candidates must be able to commit to at least two (2) co-op terms; preferably three (3) terms. This co-op program consists of rotating semesters where students will alternate between school semesters and work terms.First Work Term: Summer May-August 2025Second Work Term: Spring January-May 2026Third Work Term: Fall August-December 2026The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:Working with experienced engineering professionals on improvement and expansion projectsAssisting operations and maintenance with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem solvingParticipating in process safety management activities and reviewsContributing to team meetings and conference callsCommunicating tests and other ongoing work with engineering mentors, operations, management, etc.The following is required for this role:Enrollment at an accredited college or university as a Sophomore or above at time of assignmentPursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical or Mechanical EngineeringFamiliarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointThe following is preferred for this role:3.0 GPA or aboveParticipation in relevant activities, organizations, and projects beyond the classroomCompletion of initial Engineering courseworkBenefits:Competitive CompensationLearning and Development OpportunitiesTemporary Housing AssistanceWe're a different kind of chemistry company because we see our people as our biggest assets.
