Position Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Corporate Accountant to independently manage and execute complex accounting processes across various corporate functions. This role requires deep expertise in areas such as leases (ASC 842), debt, equity, intercompany transactions, and other intricate accounting topics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in Corporate Accounting: Independently oversee and execute complex accounting tasks across diverse corporate functions, including leases, debt, equity, intercompany transactions, and other specialized areas.

  • Advanced US GAAP and IFRS Application: Apply extensive knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS to interpret and implement complex accounting principles across various corporate accounting areas.

  • Corporate Accounting Close Process: Take full ownership of critical aspects of the monthly and quarterly close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion across multiple corporate accounting functions.

  • SOX Compliance :Ensure strict adherence to SOX requirements related to corporate accounting, designing and maintaining sophisticated internal controls as a subject matter expert.

  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify, develop, and implement strategies to enhance and streamline corporate accounting processes, improve efficiency, and mitigate risks.

  • Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of corporate balance sheet and income statement accounts, providing expert insights to support financial reporting and decision-making.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams such as Treasury, Tax, Legal, FP&A, and Audit to ensure consistent and accurate accounting for complex corporate transactions, offering authoritative guidance and resolving intricate accounting challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in corporate accounting with a strong understanding of US GAAP and IFRS.

  • Proven ability to manage complex accounting processes independently.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA preferred

  • Experience working with large public accounting firm, or large public company corporate accounting experience

  • Expertise in SOX compliance and designing internal controls.

  • Ability to work fully remote for 9-month contract

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct detailed financial analysis.

  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with experience working with various teams to ensure accurate accounting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $105.00/hr.
