Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 JOB SUMMARY:Perform all duties and assignments of an ARMED security officers and reports to and assists Sergeants, Lieutenants, Captain, and the Director with watch related duties and hospital security related responsibilities. Duties include, but not limited to, standing positions, dealing with physician emergency committals, report writing, log keeping, security & parking lot patrols, escorts, and property collections. Officers will patrol the interior and exterior grounds of the hospital to protect property and to assist in providing a safe environment for all patients, visitors, physicians and employees. Responds to all emergency situations and alerts local authorities when required. Monitors vehicle and pedestrian traffic on hospital property. Monitors visitors and issue passes after hours. Assists medical staff with restraining and/or detaining specific types of hospital patients.
