Area Sales Manager - Gulf Coast Region (LA & MS)

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Area Sales Manager to grow and maintain relationships with distributors, dealers, and end users in the Gulf Coast market. What You'll Do:

  • Develop and manage a target list of dealers, architects, builders, remodelers, and contractors.
  • Conduct frequent field sales calls to generate awareness and demand for AZEK and TimberTech products.
  • Provide hands-on product training and support to contractors and installers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and dealers, scheduling joint sales calls and events.
  • Create distributor plans, monitor performance, and take corrective action as needed.
  • Assist dealers and distributors with marketing and promotional strategies.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and support warranty claims.
  • Track and coordinate sales opportunities, maintain CRM records, and prepare sales reports.
  • Represent AZEK/TimberTech at industry trade shows and regional events.


What You Bring to the Role:

  • 3-10 years of outside sales experience, preferably in building materials.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field (or a strong combination of education and professional experience).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Proven success in consultative selling and relationship management.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a strategic mindset.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel overnight as needed.


Your Path to Success:

First 90 Days:

  • Engage with the top 20 dealers and contractors in your region.
  • Complete comprehensive product training.
  • Master AIA presentations and consultative selling techniques.


Six Months:

  • Conduct 10 contractor training sessions.
  • Deliver 10 AIA presentations, establishing new partnerships.


One Year:

  • Exceed sales goals for revenue and product line growth.
  • Maintain a conversion pipeline exceeding 150% of target revenue goals.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The annual salary for this position ranges from $73,000 -$89,000. The pay for roles at AZEK varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific work location, role, skill set and level of experience. In addition to base salary, we offer generous bonus and incentive opportunities that significantly increase earning potential.
