Job Summary:

Slidell Accounting Office looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Accountant to join our finance team. The Tax Accountant will also need to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently in a flexible, hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review tax returns for partnerships, S Corporations, and individual clients.
• Conduct tax projections and tax planning to optimize tax positions.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in accounting and tax preparation.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting programs.
• Experience with QuickBooks and general ledger management.
• Skilled in payroll tax return preparation and sales tax return preparation.
