Billing Coordinator

Description:

The Billing Coordinator will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Review, edit, and process invoices for assigned billing attorneys.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of client terms, discount arrangements, and guidelines.
  • Respond to requests from billing attorneys, clients, and staff related to billing.
  • Follow-up with billing attorneys to ensure timely processing of bills
  • Research and resolve billing-related issues
  • Monitor the status of pre-bills, identify issues, and resolve aged unbilled items.
  • Provide overflow support to other billing team members.
  • Additional billing projects/tasks may be assigned.

Requirements:
  • Ability to handle voluminous workflow and prioritize workload and requests to meet deadlines
  • 2 years' experience in similar billing role within a Law Firm
  • Must be proficient in MS Word and MS Excel
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and accuracy are a must
  • Must be proactive, work well under pressure, and excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and have the ability to multi-task
  • Professional and courteous communication with clients, attorneys, and staff is a must
  • Aderant experience preferred
