The Billing Coordinator will be responsible for the following duties:
Review, edit, and process invoices for assigned billing attorneys.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of client terms, discount arrangements, and guidelines.
Respond to requests from billing attorneys, clients, and staff related to billing.
Follow-up with billing attorneys to ensure timely processing of bills
Research and resolve billing-related issues
Monitor the status of pre-bills, identify issues, and resolve aged unbilled items.
Provide overflow support to other billing team members.
Additional billing projects/tasks may be assigned.
Requirements:
Ability to handle voluminous workflow and prioritize workload and requests to meet deadlines
2 years' experience in similar billing role within a Law Firm
Must be proficient in MS Word and MS Excel
Strong oral and written communication skills and accuracy are a must
Must be proactive, work well under pressure, and excel in a fast-paced environment
Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and have the ability to multi-task
Professional and courteous communication with clients, attorneys, and staff is a must
Aderant experience preferred
