Responsibilities: * Maintain, remove, install, and upgrade aircraft avionics and electrical components.
* Perform daily, pre-flight, post-flight, and periodic inspections to ensure aircraft safety and mission readiness.
* Execute flight operation activities, including launch, recovery, and plane captain duties.
* Assemble, disassemble, and modify aerospace systems to resolve faults or implement system updates.
* Troubleshoot complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate and repair issues.
* Conduct validation and verification testing of systems and components.
* Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory standards through proper documentation (repairs, test results, modifications, etc.).
* Inspect components and verify repairs meet flightworthiness requirements.
* Provide training and technical oversight to junior team members.
* Adhere to safety protocols and promote quality-first practices across all maintenance activities. Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED; equivalent military or vocational training accepted.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance * Minimum 5 years of experience in military fighter aircraft maintenance.
* At least 1 year of experience reading and interpreting technical publications, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
* Willingness to work variable shifts (days, evenings, nights, weekends) as mission needs dictate.
* Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
* Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and environments with loud noise and exhaust exposure.
* Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in fighter aircraft avionics/electrical modifications.
* F/A-18 AT/AE platform qualifications.
