Summary of Position

The Commercial Route Supervisor oversees daily service delivery to commercial Waste Pro customers, ensuring safety, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness in accordance with company practices, procedures, and regulations. The role emphasizes Waste Pro's Core Values and applies Positive Leadership principles in supervising drivers.

Essential Job Functions

• Supervise drivers and daily operations; conduct pre and post-trip inspections; communicate key service points and safety issues; promote core values.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and ensure policy compliance.
• Share decision-driving techniques; reinforce safety practices; lead weekly safety meetings.
• Manage new service routes, schedule deliveries, review productivity reports, and optimize routes for efficiency.
• Ensure high service quality, respond to dispatch communications, address customer issues, and coordinate with municipal authorities.
• Perform route observations, ensure safety and cleanliness standards, and identify training needs.
• Monitor driver inspections, vehicle repairs, time, and attendance; ensure compliance with DOT hours and company policies.
• Handle accident reports, investigations, and claims.
• Train new employees and conduct performance evaluations.
• Ensure daily cleaning of front loaders and assist on routes as needed.

Other Responsibilities

• Participate in training courses; stay updated on relevant technology; perform additional duties as assigned.

Work Environment: Outside supervising in the field.
