Job DescriptionDescriptionSAIC is seeking an SPARC Specialist in North Charleston, SC or New Orleans, LA.The SPARC Specialist will:* Check status of virtualization on LDOM components.* Start, stop, and restart LDOM components.* Perform minor software updates to virtualization components.* Reporting for all components.* Investigate failure to start/stop/restart virtualization components; Investigate failure to update virtualization components.* Gather and analyze performance metrics of virtualization components.* Identify and troubleshoot operability of virtualization components with other dependencies involving other functional areas.* Work with vendor support to diagnose and resolve major incidents of performance or functionality.* Assess and implement any major upgrade plans of virtualization components.* Work with vendor support to remediate security vulnerabilities within the architecture.* Maintain a strong understanding of ACAS and DISA Cyber processes and procedures (STIG Viewer).QualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:* Bachelors degree and two (2) years of experience.* SPARC experienceCLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:* Must have an active Secret clearance* Must have an active Security + certificationOverviewSAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.SAIC is a premier Fortune 500 mission integrator focused on advancing the power of technology and innovation to serve and protect our world.
