The Learning Specialist will play a leadership role in the efforts to coordinate and promote cross-departmental learning resources as well as to establish new resources for students, faculty, and staff. The Learning Specialist will plan and execute outreach initiatives to promote and support in the delivery of learning support resources to various campus stakeholders. This position reports to the Director of the Goldman Center for Student Accessibility in co-ordination with the Executive Director for Campus Accessibility & ADA/504 Coordinator. As an equal priority, the Learning Specialist will work with the other staff members at the Goldman Center to facilitate the provision of reasonable accommodations services to students, with an emphasis on supporting the academic achievement and persistence of Tulane University students with learning disabilities (LD) and/or Attention Deficient Hyperactivity Disorders (ADHD) who participate in these services.
