Job Details

This is skilled trades work performing preventive maintenance work (scheduled maintenance, inspection) and emergency repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and other mechanical systems. As of November 14, 1994, employees must possess the appropriate EPA refrigerant recycling and recovery certification for technicians (as required under Section 608 of the Clean Air Act, 1990). Knowledge of the installation, maintenance, inspection, alteration and repair of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. Knowledge of the operation, maintenance and repair of building mechanical and energy management systems. Skill in installing, maintaining, inspecting, altering and repairing heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
