Job Summary:

The Vice President of Marketing (Digital) is responsible for leading the organization's digital marketing vision, strategy, and execution across all digital touchpoints. This role oversees performance marketing, digital brand presence, e-commerce (if applicable), SEO/SEM, social media, email, marketing automation, and digital analytics. As a key member of the marketing leadership team, the VP of Digital Marketing drives measurable growth, enhances digital customer experiences, and ensures the brand remains competitive in an evolving digital landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Strategy & Leadership:

  • Develop and own the long-term digital marketing roadmap aligned with overall marketing and business goals.
  • Lead and inspire teams across digital channels, UX, content, and analytics to deliver a cohesive and high-performing digital strategy.
  • Champion digital transformation and innovation across the marketing organization.
Performance Marketing & Demand Generation:
  • Oversee paid digital channels including search, display, retargeting, paid social, and affiliate marketing.
  • Optimize lead generation and conversion programs using A/B testing, funnel analysis, and attribution modeling.
  • Partner with Sales and Revenue Ops to align digital marketing with pipeline and revenue goals.
Website, SEO & Content Strategy:
  • Own strategy and performance of company websites and microsites, ensuring strong UX, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Drive organic growth through SEO best practices and content optimization.
  • Collaborate with creative and brand teams to ensure a consistent digital presence.
Marketing Technology & Automation:
  • Oversee the marketing tech stack including CMS, CRM, marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), and analytics tools.
  • Ensure seamless integration of digital tools and data for effective personalization and campaign tracking.
  • Stay ahead of digital trends and technology to continuously improve efficiency and scale.
Data, Analytics & Optimization:
  • Establish digital KPIs and dashboards to measure performance across all channels and initiatives.
  • Use data to drive optimization of campaigns, customer journeys, and digital spend.
  • Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
Team & Vendor Management:
  • Build and lead a high-performing digital marketing team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Manage external agencies and digital partners, ensuring high ROI and delivery against goals.
  • Oversee digital marketing budget, including forecasting and reporting.
Qualifications:

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Media, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven success driving digital strategies in B2B, B2C, or DTC environments (depending on company type).
  • Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, or digitally native organization is a plus.
