Job Summary

The Site Logistics Operator serves as the key interface between Client and its customers, managing orders from start to finish while maintaining strong communication and escalating issues as needed. This role significantly impacts inventory management and ensures efficient order fulfillment, customer satisfaction, and adherence to health, safety, and sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Management (30%)
  • Receive, enter, and confirm customer orders accurately.
  • Manage the entire order cycle from receipt through fulfillment.
  • Maximize On-Time and In-Full (OTIF) delivery performance.
  • Enter reason codes for OTIF failures and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively to resolve order issues and delays.
  • Customer & Sales Relationship Management (30%)
  • Maintain clear communication with sales teams and customers as needed.
  • Address customer inquiries and provide timely updates.
  • Collaborate with sales to support customer needs and order requirements.

  • Inventory Management (20%)
  • Receive replenishment orders and place them accurately into inventory.
  • Pick and tint sales and distribution orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Understand daily replenishment processes, safety stock levels, and forecast adjustments.
  • Follow the North America (NAM) Inventory Management Protocol and its purpose.
  • Coordination of Internal Resources (10%)
  • Collaborate with relevant internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Assist in problem-solving using available resources.
  • Work with supervisors on escalations and problem resolution within ALPS Tier I.
  • Health, Safety & Sustainability (10%)
  • Participate actively in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) reporting.
  • Proactively contribute to sustainability initiatives.
  • Adhere to the Client Code of Conduct and core company values.


  • Level of Autonomy
  • The Site Logistics Operator is empowered to make decisions within ALPS Tier I parameters based on core competencies. Issues beyond this scope must be escalated to the Site Logistics Supervisor or Manager.

  • Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of related customer service experience.
  • Relevant business diploma or degree.
  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
  • Proficient problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Job Complexities
  • Managing volume and complexity of orders, lines, and gallons processed per person.
  • Ensuring accuracy in picking and order fulfillment.
  • Supporting multiple Client businesses.
  • Managing facility inventory, order, and tint capacity efficiently.
