Responsibilities

  • Conduct floor care tasks, including cleaning, buffing, and refinishing floors in resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
  • Safely and efficiently operate floor care equipment.
  • Document floor care activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
  • Adhere to infection control and universal precautions policies to maintain a sanitary environment.
  • Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests while providing excellent customer service.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior floor care experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 50 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Capable of performing routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
  • Ability to work around food and cleaning products.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Residency within the service area is required.
