Responsibilities

• Provide business and customer insights to support category strategies and performance reporting
• Identify opportunities within categories using market data and competitive pricing analysis
• Conduct data mining and trend analysis to improve business practices and profitability
• Collaborate with the merchandising team to establish pricing strategies and monitor vendor performance
• Maintain accurate pricing and sales system information to support promotional plans and reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of analytical experience in category management, retail, or financial analysis
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
• Strong quantitative skills with the ability to analyze large data sets
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of SQL, VBA, and Alteryx
• Familiarity with Nielsen and IRI data sources
• Experience in a fast-paced retail or wholesale environment
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented learner with a passion for new tools
• Strong math and analytical skills, with the ability to present findings effectively
