Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Basic Job Functions: - Lead our safety performance, ensuring compliance with all federal, state and local safety, occupational health and environmental regulations, including OSHA. - Conduct training and culture-building activities with branch teammates to lead with safety in mind. - Collaborate with peer EHS teammates across Nucor Rebar Fabrication to ensure consistency across divisions and share best practices. - Work with JHSC on audits, program reviews, etc. and help to develop topics and other agenda items for the JHSC meetings. - Prepare content and ensure regular Toolbox and Safety Meetings are conducted. - Inspect facilities/sites, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards and to ensure safety regulation compliance. -...EHS Coordinator, EHS, Coordinator, Manufacturing, Safety
