Warehouse Associate
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Warehouse Associatefor a company based in Pearl River, LA. This position demands a committed hardworking candidate ready to work in refrigerator and freezer conditions.

Pay Rate
$18 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Tuesday through Saturday

1st Shift - 7:00am - Until

Warehouse AssociateDuties and Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading freight from trucks, stacking products securely on pallets, and ensuring proper organization within the cold storage environment.
• Tracking goods using scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS), ensuring accurate counts, and monitoring product conditions.
• Operating powered industrial trucks (PIT), such as forklifts, to move products safely and efficiently.
• Monitoring and maintaining the required temperature for perishable goods, ensuring the "cold chain" remains unbroken.
• Adhering to strict safety protocols, following grooming and dress codes, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and preventing pest issues.
• Working with the operations team to meet daily goals and contributing to the overall efficiency and responsiveness of the supply chain.

Warehouse Associate Qualifications and Requirements

• The ability to lift heavy objects (up to 75lbs), stand, and walk for extended periods in a physically demanding role.
• Crucial for accuracy in handling inventory and ensuring product quality and safety.
• The flexibility to quickly adjust to changing operational demands and processes.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and potentially other technologies is often a requirement.
• Proficient English language skills, basic math skills, and a high school diploma or equivalent are typically required.
• The ability to be trained and certified to operate powered industrial trucks is often a key qualification.
