Weare seeking enthusiastic and reliable Event Staff professional to join ourteam. The ideal candidates will be responsible for assisting in the planning,setup, execution, and breakdown of various events. This role is perfect forindividuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are passionateabout delivering exceptional customer service on and off the field.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with event setup, including arranging furniture, and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service to attendees, addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive experience.
• Ensure thorough cleaning of all bathrooms within the Center.
• Regularly remove trash from hallways, bathrooms, conference rooms, and the lobby.
• Help with the teardown and cleanup after events, ensuring all materials are returned to storage.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines during events.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure event success.
• Enforcing Park Rules (No alcohol, pets on a leash, no glass bottles, no fighting, etc.)
• In the event of an incident, completing and submitting Incident Reports
• Light to moderate repairs as required.
• Additional duties may be required as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• At least 1 year experience in event management preferred
• Possess and maintain a clear criminal and driving record.
• Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining certification in CPR, First Aide, and perform if necessary.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including eveningsand weekends.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a positiveattitude.
• Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies 50lbs with repetitive movement.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• At least 21 years of age
• Current driver's license issued by state of residence.
• Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.

PHYSICAL AND DEXTERITY REQUIREMENTS (with or without accommodation)
• Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods during program supervision, event planning, and fieldwork, including various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain) and outdoor environments.
• Ability to handle the physical demands of event setup, including lifting, bending, reaching and moving equipment or supplies up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to manage various tasks simultaneously with hand-eye coordination.
• Use manual dexterity to handle equipment and technology.
• Have clear vision and hearing for monitoring events and ensuring safety.
• Respond quickly to emergencies, including assisting with injuries or evacuations.

SENSORY REQUIREMENTS (with or without accommodation)
• Ability to see clearly to monitor activities, identify hazards, and read schedules.
• Ability to hear verbal communications, emergency signals, and participant concerns.
• Ability to communicate clearly with staff, participants, and the public.
• Ability to assess equipment and facilities through physical inspection.
• Ability to detect odors that signal safety or health issues.
