The Section of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Tulane University Health Sciences Center invites applications for a Pulmonary Scientist faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor. The candidate's research program will build upon current strengths in ongoing basic and translational research programs, and must have considerable experience with next generation splicing analysis, herpes virus biology, and lung biology. Tulane University has a rich collaborative environment that complements our interdisciplinary Tulane Lung Biology Research Program, and hosts a vibrant biomedical sciences community that includes the School of Medicine, School of Public Health, National Primate Research Center, and several Centers of Excellence for research on Cancer, Gene Therapy, Hypertension and Renal Biology, Infectious Diseases, Aging, Cardiovascular Disease, Biomedical Engineering, and Women's Health.
