Job Description
This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, blending remote flexibility with in-office collaboration. You'll lead the execution of multiple transmission, substation, and distribution projects, coordinating across internal and external teams to manage the full lifecycle of capital project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project execution, contract administration, planning, and resource allocation
- Take ownership of safety, schedule, budget, reporting, and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage all phases of the project: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/control, and closeout
- Lead and mentor project teams to ensure performance and accountability
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and functional leads
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
- Track and report key performance indicators for schedule, budget, and other metrics
- Identify and mitigate construction risks
- Manage and document project changes
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and supervisors
- Prepare clear, concise reports that meet client expectations
- Analyze challenges and implement solutions to improve outcomes

The Successful Applicant
Essential Skills & Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in project management within utilities, construction, engineering, or related fields
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams
- Experience serving as a liaison between firms and clients
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Collaborative team mindset
- Willingness to travel domestically 10-25%
Preferred (but not required):
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
- Engineering design experience
- PMP certification
- Construction or field experience
