About This Role. This Software Engineering role is within Textron Systems Land Systems division working with manned and unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) products. Our teams are engaged in multiple cutting-edge development programs for defense applications. The strong candidate will possess a solid knowledge base in software development and design best practices. We believe people should love what they do in this role, you will be responsible for:Providing solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity on both current and next generation technologies in support of our family of Ground Vehicle product. Participating in software development of new products across all phases of the product lifecycle from concept development to lab and offsite integration and evaluation.
