Responsible for meeting with customers to determine electric needs and requirements. Performs a wide variety of planning, maintenance, and design engineering activities related to routine, non-routine, and emergency restoration duties. Project areas may include grid/system design, operations and maintenance, planning, asset management, reliability, computer applications, safety, and root cause failure analysis. JOB DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide technical guidance to the Engineer Associates and Assistants and local area line groups. Provide project management for all large projects including highway relocations, governmental projects, planned improvement and reliability projects. Review and recommend for approval electrical designs that meet customer needs, comply with company standards and enhance the overall system performance and reliability.
