Child Caregiver Position

Local employer is looking for a child caregiver with a minimum of six months experience. Will be attending to children at a child care institution. Will perform a variety of tasks, such as dressing, feeding, bathing, overseeing play, and learning. Days and hours to be arranged. This is a full-time position. Must have a high school diploma. Preferred candidate will have:

• CDA
• Experience in licensed childcare (infant/toddlers preferred)
• Knowledge of child development and best practices
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and meet physical needs of the job
• CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Clean background check
• Friendly, nurturing, and patient personality

Your role is to provide responsive, loving care to infants and toddlers (6 weeks to 3 years), leading their daily routines: feeding, diapering, napping, and play. You'll keep parents informed and engaged; documenting growth and milestones. You must be a team player with fellow care-givers and staff and maintain a clean, organized, and safe space.
