This job supports the physician or scientist's efforts through investigating scientific and medical questions, collecting and organizing data, preparing abstracts, presentations & manuscripts, disseminating and publishing research results, and collaborating with and training other team members. Engages in clinical or laboratory research experiments, maintains impeccable records, provides copies to leadership, and reports any suspected research irregularities. Thinks independently, troubleshoots technical problems, and understands his/her experiments. Reads scientific literature and demonstrates an intellectual interest in the biomedical research projects. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Education Required - Doctoral degree (MD, DO, or PhD in a health related field). Work Experience Required - None. Preferred - Prior experience in biomedical research.
