What You'll Do as a Cajera
You're the first impression of Felipe's. You set the tone by delivering warm, welcoming, and efficient service. Your day may include:
- Providing Outstanding Guest Service: Greet guests, answer menu questions, and suggest add-ons like chips, guac, drinks, or dessert.
- Handling Payments & Accuracy: Manage your cash drawer, keep it organized, and balance it at the end of every shift.
- Mastering the Menu: Know ingredients, menu prices, portions, and dietary options to serve guests confidently.
- Efficient Order Processing: Enter orders accurately into the POS and ensure high throughput during busy shifts.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with burrero staff, stock and set up the line, and support overall restaurant flow.
- Station Care: Keep the Cajera area clean, stocked, and running smoothly throughout your shift.
- Guest Support: Answer questions about Felipe's, including catering or events, and provide top-tier service.
What We're Looking For
- A friendly, positive, people-person who enjoys fast-paced customer service
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stay organized and accurate under pressure
- A problem-solver who can assist guests or confidently redirect to the Manager on Duty
- Basic understanding of safe food handling (training provided)
