MECO is seeking an Compressor Mechanic based in the Mandeville location on our 1st shift. First shift is Monday-Friday 5am-1pm.

Core Responsibilities

Disassemble, reassemble, and test MECO compressors using Engineering drawings, sketches, and manufacturing operating instructions

Responsible for getting material from the storage yard and cutting material on the horizontal band saw as required by work order instructions

Deburring, polishing, applying rust preventor to steel parts bagging-boxing and labeling completed parts

Maintain all necessary paperwork and databases

All duties assigned by supervisor

Skill Requirements

Proficient in the disassembly, reassembly, and testing of MECO compressors

Must be able to operate most of the equipment used in the compressor department

Proficient in the operation of the balancing machine

Education, Experience, and Technical Knowledge

High school diploma or GED required

3 years in the trade

Must have good knowledge of MECO compressors and parts
