Within this team, you will have the opportunity to work on Data Center projects of various sizes across the country. The Mission Critical space requires a very proactive, responsive, and efficient design team with projects serving Fortune 10 companies who are making headlines with transformational projects. The candidate will work directly with clients to successfully implement and manage project design and construction administration. The candidate will be responsible for Project Management, development of project team members, and for supporting and managing civil site design services of private data center projects. This position will coordinate, and lead project teams focused on engineering and construction related services./ppYour Key Responsibilities/pulliWork with multidisciplinary teams to undertake site development projects related to their planning, design and engineering./liliSeeking a motivated individual who is enthusiastic, flexible, innovative, organized, and possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills./liliStrong interest in the Mission Critical / Data Center market and major commercial projects./liliBe a responsive partner with excellent communication skills./liliBe proactive, solution-oriented, and work well within a cooperative team environment./liliAbility to be flexible and react accordingly to dynamic project needs on tight timelines and fast paced schedules./liliAbility to perform duties with virtual coordination as the team is officed across various geographic regions./liliUnderstanding of civil engineering concepts (i.e. site layout, grading, utility design, etc.) and ability to effectively communicate ideas to others./liliManage and lead technical work depending on scope/size of project./liliResponsible for large projects of high complexity./liliLiaise with clients and sub-consultants and ensure that the projects/clients needs are met in a timely and effective manner./liliLeads project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants./liliAbility to review, markup, and coordinate the delivery of documentation in various project phases including site plans, utility plans, grading plans, stormwater systems as well as other components of the project./liliAbility to participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought./liliThorough understanding of the land development process and ability to effectively communicate ideas to others./liliAssist the design team in the creation of sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats./liliAssist with proposal development, interviews, and presentations./liliMarket and support client growth throughout North America./liliUtilizes technologies in development of three-dimensional models of civil systems and provides markups for junior engineers/designers./liliDevelops and manages the project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule./liliConducts quality assurance and quality control on own projects and projects of peers./liliAssists in the development of new standards and processes for the team./li/ulpYour Capabilities and Credentials/pulliStrong understanding of all phases of project document production./liliStrong knowledge of civil systems means and methods, materials, and industry standards./liliAbility to lead one or more teams through all phases of project document production./liliChecks the work of others for accuracy and completeness and manages time to meet project budget and schedule./liliParticipates and collaborates in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought./liliAdvanced understanding of civil engineering concepts and ability to communicate ideas to others./liliAdvanced oral and written communication skills./liliEffective communicator and able to work on and lead teams./liliEfficient project management of multiple concurrent projects./liliProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant design software./li/ulpEducation and Experience/pulliBachelors degree or equivalent in Engineering, Planning, or related field./liliMinimum of 8 years of experience./liliTypical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
