Job Details

• Manage outreach and communication to secure expert speakers, scientific and diplomatic leaders, innovators, from government and nonprofits.
• Manage execution of the summit in close collaboration with HBC events team
• Oversee budget and selection of vendors in consultation with HBC director of events
• Develop content for the Science Diplomacy website and conference registration information.
• Liaise with HBC Comms to develop an audience outreach strategy, provide all content for outreach and summit promotion.
• Manage speaker onboarding, briefings, and schedules.
• Ensure seamless execution in partnership with HBC events team of all on-site speaker logistics, from AV needs to green room management.
• Design overall program structure and run of show in coordination with JHU Bloomberg Center's events, tech and facilities teams.
• Develop and execute post summit follow up and outreach strategy
• Develop recommendations for summit 2027
