Sr. Business Consultant - Association and Group Retiree Health Markets

Position Summary:

The Sr. Business Consultant supports the Association and Group Retiree Market segments by providing administrative and operational assistance to Account Managers Relationship Managers, and Marketing. This role ensures exceptional client service, accurate processing of requests, and timely delivery of solutions that strengthen client relationships and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Support:
    • Assist Account Managers in servicing clients, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
    • Prepare and distribute client communications, renewal materials, and policy documents.
    • Assist marketing with efficiency reviews and filings as needed.
  • Operational Tasks:
    • Maintain accurate client records in internal systems and ensure compliance with company standards for record retention.
    • Coordinate and participate in enrollment processes for Group Retiree Health
    • Assist with new client implementation , billing, and reporting for Association and Group Retiree Health.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with internal teams (Underwriting, Billing, Claims, etc) to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Support marketing initiatives and member engagement campaigns for association clients.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Track and report on key metrics such as retention, growth, and service initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate's degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in account management, customer service, or insurance/benefits industry helpful.
  • Skills:
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and client satisfaction.
    • Highly proficient in AI technologies and skilled in leveraging them to enhance outcomes.
Performance Metrics:
  • Timely completion of client requests and renewals.
  • Accuracy of data entry and reporting.
  • Positive feedback from Account Managers and clients.


Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$67,200 - $100,800
