Job Title: Procurement Specialist
Duration: 9-month contract
Location: Portland, OR (hybrid)
Pay Range: $35.48- $38.71 per hour

The Procurement Specialist manages the end-to-end supplier onboarding process within the existing Coupa ecosystem and plays a key role in the migration to Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement. The position initially focuses on maintaining and administering the Coupa Supplier Information Management (SIM) system while supporting supplier enablement, testing, and data migration activities associated with the Oracle Fusion Cloud transition. Responsibilities include coordinating with internal stakeholders, onboarding and validating supplier information, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensuring high-quality supplier master data. The role is hybrid, with three days per week onsite at the downtown office and two days remote; additional onsite presence may be required during peak project phases. .

Position Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams requesting new supplier setups, updates, or changes within the Coupa SIM system.
  • Initiate and manage supplier onboarding requests, guiding suppliers through registration and documentation requirements, including collection of tax forms (W-9/W-8), banking information, and compliance documentation.
  • Partner closely with Accounts Payable and Sourcing teams to ensure suppliers are accurately established and transitioned to active status for payment and purchase order processing.
  • Review and validate supplier-submitted information for completeness, accuracy, and compliance prior to final system entry.
  • Maintain data integrity within the Coupa Supplier Information Management system through consistent quality assurance practices.
  • Support supplier enablement efforts associated with the Oracle Fusion Cloud migration by working directly with existing suppliers to transition to the new platform.
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), execute test scripts, document defects, and verify that supplier portal functionality meets business requirements.
  • ssist with supplier master data cleansing and migration from Coupa to Oracle Fusion Cloud to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide training, communications, and support to internal stakeholders and suppliers during onboarding and transition activities.
  • Collaborate with internal partners including Accounts Payable, Legal, and Sourcing to align supplier onboarding and compliance processes.

Position Requirements
  • Minimum 2-4 years experience in procurement operations, supplier management, or a related P2P (Procure-to-Pay) role.
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Coupa (specifically SIM) is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud Supplier Management or Supplier Portal is a significant plus.
  • Previous experience participating in system implementations or large-scale data migrations, including UAT execution.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively liaise between internal stakeholders (AP, Legal, Sourcing) and external suppliers.
  • Exceptional accuracy in managing sensitive financial and legal data (banking details, TIN matching, etc.).
Must-Have:
  • Coupa supplier management experience is critical
  • Training, support, communications are top skills and experience
  • Process rigor and attention to detail are key to minimize rework
Nice-to-Have:
  • Technical experience on migration projects are nice to have
  • Experience with Oracle supplier management
  • Experience or understanding of third-party risk management practices
