We are looking for a highly skilledProduct Operations Lead to lead day-to-day operations and maintenance activities for a CMS-supported system and ensure operational activities align with CMS contract requirements, SLAs, and performance metrics. This is a 100% remote opportunity.

Basic Requirements:

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation.
• Must reside in and be able to perform work in the United States.
• Must have lived in the United States for 3 of the last 5 years.
• Bachelor's degree is required.

Responsibilities:

• Promote process standardization and best practices across the O&M lifecycle
• Lead day-to-day operations and maintenance activities for a CMS-supported system
• Ensure operational activities align with CMS contract requirements, SLAs, and performance metrics
• Coordinate incident management, problem resolution, and change activities across technical and functional teams
• Track operational risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate as appropriate
• Develop and deliver regular status reports, operational metrics, and briefings for CMS stakeholders and program leadership
• Coordinate release communications, maintenance notifications, and incident communications
• Facilitate operational meetings including stand-ups, O&M reviews, and stakeholder touch points
• Elicit and document business and operational requirements for CMS-requested enhancements and internal improvements
• Write, refine, and manage user stories and acceptance criteria aligned with CMS standards and Agile practices
• Maintain and prioritize the enhancement and defect backlog in collaboration with CMS stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams
• Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, demos, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and operational efficiency
• Partner with engineering and support teams on root cause analysis and preventative actions
