Description:

The Customer Care Specialist is essential in supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Managers to boost sales, enhance customer satisfaction, maintain store aesthetics, and streamline store operations. This role also includes shift management duties when the Assistant or Store Manager is unavailable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Guide the team in providing outstanding customer service to both retail and professional clients.
  2. Oversee customer service levels in the retail showroom, ensuring the team adheres to customer service initiatives such as Related Sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, and Rock the Lot.
  3. Ensure phone inquiries are answered in accordance with company policy.
  4. Efficiently manage online orders, store transfers, and DC add orders, ensuring customers are notified promptly upon shipment arrival.
  5. Facilitate the handling of special orders and outside purchases using electronic systems for efficient processing.
  6. Process returns and exchanges swiftly, issuing refunds accurately, and organizing returned merchandise properly.
  7. Ensure all items, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before leaving the store.
  8. Communicate important messages and delegate tasks to team members, ensuring timely completion.
  9. Monitor team adherence to the scheduled shifts, approving changes as necessary, and ensuring proper time clock procedures are followed.
  10. Perform all store opening and closing duties, including day-end procedures, securing deposits, locking up, arming security systems, and ensuring delivery vehicles are safeguarded.
  11. Take on additional tasks as needed.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES

Required:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to obtain RSS Certification

Preferred:

  • Previous experience in retail sales, particularly in the auto parts industry
  • Knowledge of automotive systems and repair processes
  • ASE Certification
  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus, with Spanish being highly preferred
