Responsibilities:
• Work with the team as needed to execute standard Workday integrations and configurations.
• Run technical reports, analyzes results, and gathers technical logs for analysis; develop custom reports as needed.
• Provide compliance and regulatory reporting and testing assistance with Internal Audit and Compliance teams.
• Reproduce technical issues and create detailed technical cases.
• Ensure technology configurations meet technical targets.
• Recommend improvements to technical SOPs, controls, tools, and metrics.
• Expand knowledge of various Workday technical areas (e.g., Studio integrations, EIBs, Core Connectors, Custom Objects, Calculated Fields, etc.). Discern which technical approach or integration pattern is right for each use case.
• Participate as needed in technical testing or ad hoc technical validation.
• Interpret technical results and provide relevant information in an easily digestible format (e.g., technical reports, documentation, etc.).
• Always evaluating process for improvement (i.e. integration optimization, performance tuning, automation, development workflow improvements, etc.) and system operations practices (e.g., monitoring, maintenance, technical excellence, etc.).
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experiences:
• 2+ years of experience in an ERP platform with a proven track record of delivering successful projects at the enterprise level.
• Workday is preferred platform, Peoplesoft, Lawson, SAP, etc. would be acceptable.
• Workday Pro or Workday Partner Certification (preferred).
• Basic programming ability in 1+ foundational language (C, C++, Java, Python, C#).
• Understands compliance-driven configuration (e.g., designing business processes with SOX approval workflows) and audit/reporting needs (configuring Workday reports for auditors, regulators, or compliance officers).
• Preferred experience with regulated industries (healthcare, financial services, government, publicly traded).
• Knowledge of access & role-based security (SOX) models (domains, business process security policies, segregation of duties).
• Handles sensitive data responsibly, including designing secure integrations ensuring APIs/EIBs/Studio integrations don't expose PII data improperly.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and SDLC tools (Jira, ADO, etc.) required.
• Exceptional judgment balancing short-term v. long-term business needs.
• Excellent communication and collaboration. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A team player."
