Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior .NET Developer to analyze existing enterprise applications and design, develop, and implement new web-based solutions. This role partners closely with project managers, business analysts, technical teams, and external stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing applications.

The ideal candidate brings deep ASP.NET expertise, strong architecture experience, and the ability to independently drive full lifecycle development efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in full software development lifecycle (requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment)
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Design and develop web applications using ASP.NET, MVC frameworks, and C#
• Develop unit testing strategies and ensure high-quality code delivery
• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to meet project milestones
• Prototype, refine, test, and debug applications to meet evolving business needs
• Ensure applications align with agency architecture standards and security requirements
• Analyze and resolve security-related issues across multi-language applications
• Develop and support Oracle SQL database integrations
• Design and support web services integrations
• Work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound technical judgment

• Perform requirements analysis related to EDI processes
• Support file exchanges with external trading partners
• Troubleshoot EDI data transmission conflicts
• Provide helpdesk-level support for EDI claim transactions

• 10+ years of current experience with ASP.NET
• 5+ years of professional experience with C#
• 5+ years of experience working with MVC frameworks
• 5+ years of experience analyzing and resolving application security issues
• 5+ years of experience working with Oracle SQL
• Current experience developing and consuming Web Services
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to address complex programming challenges
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent IT experience)

• Experience within the healthcare or public health industry

• Understanding of EDI file formats
