Room Service Order Seller

The Windsor Court is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Room Service Order Seller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking In-Room Dining orders and accepting payment for food and beverages when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Meet certification requirements as applicable to the position, including Alcohol Awareness, Food Handlers, Safety, etc.
• Perform opening and closing side work according to Avion's standards to ensure guests are served promptly and efficiently.
• Serve guests with all food and beverage requests in a warm, friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Ensure the room service area and cafe wait station remain clean and tidy.
• Follow Avion's portion control and checking procedures precisely.
• Be familiar with the operation of the P.O.S. system.
• Adhere to all state liquor laws.
• Maintain a warm, friendly demeanor at all times.
• Ensure hallways are free from service debris and that all room service trays are returned to the kitchen for breakdown and bussing.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field is preferred.
• Alcohol Awareness Certification (must comply with State regulations).
• Food Handlers Certification (must comply with State regulations).
• Must be able to communicate information and ideas clearly.
• Ability to evaluate and select from alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
• Must perform well under stressful, high-pressure situations.
