SBP Disaster Response & RecoverySBP is focused on disaster resilience and recovery. We're seeking passionate leaders to join our AmeriCorps team and support volunteers in rebuilding homes. Our work returns people to safe, sanitary, and secure living conditions after natural disasters. AmeriCorps members serving with SBP directly impact our clients' lives by coordinating construction projects, organizing volunteers, and supporting clients with the application and rebuilding process. AmeriCorps members achieve measurable results for our clients, gain leadership experience, and create connections with volunteers and corporate partners. Join us as an AmeriCorps member, and you will develop skills in public speaking, problem-solving, and (for our construction team) home construction. You will also receive coaching and mentorship from SBP managers who are invested in your success as a leader! We are always recruiting, and our available locations change throughout the year. Our next upcoming start dates are January 27, 2026, April 28, 2026, and July 28, 2026, as well as another to-be-determined start date in the fall of 2026.
