Quality Assurance plays a frontline role in protecting end users, customers, and field teams by ensuring every system performs exactly as designed before it ever ships.
Core Duties & Scope
As a Quality Assurance II, you own the final verification of complex electrical switchboards. You'll power up completed systems, validate voltage, grounding, and circuit protection, and troubleshoot issues at startup. Success in this role means independently programming controllers, loading system-specific software, confirming component communication, and conducting full Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) with customers present-ensuring each unit meets operational and performance standards.
Military Alignment
This role aligns well with veterans from electrical, power generation, and systems maintenance backgrounds. Relevant experience may include MOS/ratings such as Nuke EM, FC, Army 12R (Interior Electrician), 91D (Power Generation), Navy Electrician's Mate (EM), Generator Technician, or Air Force Power Production (3E0X2). Experience working from technical documentation, performing system checks, and standing behind your work in high-visibility environments translates directly.
Schedule, Modality & Tools
This is a hands-on, on-site role in a controlled manufacturing environment with no travel required. You'll work with industrial control hardware, electrical switchboards, and controller systems such as EasyGens and DCGs, using programming tools, diagnostic software, and formal test procedures. The position offers overtime opportunities and eligibility for an annual bonus, reflecting performance and production needs.
