Shift Details:

Monday to Friday; Every other weekend required.

The Resident Care Provider reports directly to the Family Experience Director, Pearl Director, or the Assistant Family Experience Director.

Purpose

The Resident Care Provider is dedicated to delivering exemplary care and services to a consistent group of residents in our assisted living and memory care neighborhoods. This role focuses on providing hands-on support, emotional comfort, and assistance tailored to each resident's Personalized Service Plan (PSP), all while fostering a safe and comfortable home-like environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the creation and updates of Personalized Service Plans and attend review meetings with families as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to the established hydration schedule for residents during your shift.
  • Accurately complete resident meal attendance records and ensure room service is provided for those who do not dine in the dining room.
  • Understand and uphold all resident rights.
  • Initiate and assist with activities tailored to residents' needs.
  • Conduct daily checks on assigned residents for cleanliness, suitable clothing, any continence concerns, and changes in condition.
  • Follow sanitary procedures and universal precautions at all times.
  • Inspect assigned resident rooms daily for cleanliness and organization, and take appropriate actions as necessary.
  • Assist in ensuring laundry rooms and common areas are maintained clean and that hazardous materials are secured.
  • Complete all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) for assigned residents according to their Personalized Service Plan (PSP).
  • Respond promptly to security system alerts and resident call bells, taking necessary actions such as resetting call bells.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: High School education, or as required by state regulations.
  • Prior experience working with elderly or disabled individuals is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years old to provide personal care activities.
  • Knowledge in Assisted Living and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing is preferred.
  • Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and flexible hours to meet the needs of our residents.

Requirements:
Active First Aid & CPR Certification
Reliable transportation

Compensation: $14-15 Hourly Wage
