Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and professional Bar Security Guard to help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our guests and staff. The ideal candidate is alert, calm under pressure, and experienced in handling high-energy nightlife settings. Key Responsibilities: Monitor entry and exit points to ensure only authorized and age-appropriate guests enter the premises Check IDs and enforce legal drinking age requirements Maintain order inside and outside the venue, including crowd control De-escalate conflicts and remove disruptive individuals when necessary Respond quickly to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances Work closely with bartenders, management, and local law enforcement if needed Conduct routine walkthroughs to identify potential safety hazards Ensure compliance with local laws and venue policies Qualifications: Previous security, bouncer, or law enforcement experience preferred Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills Ability to stay composed in fast-paced, high-pressure environments Physically capable of standing for long periods and intervening if necessary Must be at least 21 years old Valid ID and any required local security licenses or certifications Preferred Skills: Training in de-escalation techniques First Aid and/or CPR certification Experience working in nightlife or hospitality environments Employment Type: Full Time Years Experience: 3 - 5 years Salary: $17 - $20 Hourly Bonus/Commission: Yes
