About this Job Metropolitan Human Services District (MHSD) is one of ten Local Governing Entities (LGE) serving persons with Mental Health Disorders, Addictive Disorders and Intellectual/ Developmental Disabilities in Louisiana. Legislated by the State and through its Board of Directors, MHSD is responsible for the operation and management of community-based programs and services for the parishes of Orleans, St. Bernard, and Plaquemines. We are currently recruiting for a Child and Youth Director. The Child and Youth Director is a key member of the Metropolitan Human Services District's Leadership Team. An ideal candidate should possess strong clinical expertise, demonstrated leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams, the ability to develop and implement evidence-based practices, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to advancing the well-being of children and youth through innovative and effective programming.
