What You Will Do
Guidehouse is currently seeking a software engineer that provides expert advisory services to clients, focusing onenhancing organizational outcomes across diverse domains including human resources, IT, and strategic planning. Leads and guides client teams through comprehensive improvement initiatives by evaluating and benchmarking current business processes, redesigning workflows, implementing innovative practices, and establishing metrics for ongoing performance monitoring and sustained progress.
What You Will Need
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of clearance prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE "SECRET" or higher-level clearance are preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Information Systems)
- Must have an Agile Developer or Certified Scrum Developer certification
- FOURTEEN (14) or more years of experience in software engineering -OR- a Master's degree with TEN (10) or more years of experience in software engineering
What Would Be Nice To Have
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field
- Preferred candidate will demonstrate a strong background in applying programming concepts in both professional and academic environments, and notable experience utilizing modern software development methodologies such as Agile and DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS in these settings
- Experience in the research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs, including database maintenance within an application area
