Machine Learning Engineer (Remote)

Location: Remote (San Antonio, Detroit, New Orleans)

Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week

Compensation: $110k - $130k, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities

• Build production foundations for machine learning across US and UK.
• Design and maintain low‑latency serving, API integration, inference data pipelines, monitoring, and robust deployment practices.
• Deliver the real‑time serving layer connecting the data platform (e.g., Snowflake) with activation platforms such as Iterable.
• Architect services and workflows that move from offline modelling to always‑on personalization, supporting CRM and other channels.
• Contribute to designing, scaling, building, evaluating, integrating, and refining machine learning models.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Engineering across the US and UK to define machine learning's role in personalized customer communications.
• Build reusable science infrastructure, production‑grade measurement systems, and robust evaluation frameworks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in ML engineering delivering production ML systems at scale.
• Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operations Research or equivalent quantitative field.
• Proficiency in Python and modern ML tooling with strong software engineering practices.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS and cloud-native patterns (Lambda, S3, IAM, event‑driven architectures, monitoring).
• Experience designing inference architectures (batch + low‑latency/near‑real‑time) with performance tuning.
• Knowledge of orchestration and data pipelines for features/inference (Airflow), modern data stacks (Snowflake, dbt), and API integrations.
• Familiarity with MLOps foundations: model/version management, feature stores, monitoring/drift, production experimentation.
• Bonus: experience activating ML outputs in customer engagement platforms (e.g., Iterable) and real‑time personalization patterns.
