Job Details

All duties may change or be altered as determined by the Lead Steward on duty. Maintains all BOH work areas (kitchens, prep areas, and dish rooms), equipment (stoves, grills, stove hoods, oven hoods, deep fryers and fryer boil-out, etc.), and assists with the daily cleaning and in accordance with OSHA and Serv. Safe standards. Removes garbage and trash from all operating venues, ensure all trash cans are clean and relined. Clean mechanical devices as needed, i.e. dishwashers, combi ovens, ice cream machines and smoker. Adheres to safety, proper cleanliness and sanitation standards as set forth by Company and Departmental Guidelines and Serv. Safe. Maintains cleanliness and sanitary conditions in all kitchen and food storage areas by scrubbing the floors, cleaning surfaces, washing walls, and ceilings tiles as needed. Carries or transfers by cart, supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
