Linux OS operation and administration including cron deployments, software installations, file system maintenance, user/group administration Perform troubleshooting as issues are reported through formal trouble ticketing Maintain and upgrade operating systems; Perform installations and patches of operating system(s) Perform installations and patches of custom developed software modules Maintain a virtualized environment with high availability Coordinate with network administrators to optimize system performance The contractor shall conduct system administration tasks following DoD, Do. N, and NAVOCEANO policies, processes and guidelines. Required Experience:Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant technical field 2 years of experience as a Linux System Administrator performing patching and configuring systems 3 years of experience as systems administrator or software developer.
