Youll perform light duty work as an intermediate-level auto tech. Youll improve your skills in a supportive environment. Other responsibilities include: - Gain familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices. - Perform auto maintenance tech duties, including oil and filter change, fuel filter change, transmission flush, spark plugs and vehicle inspection. - Perform battery testing, maintenance and replacement and testing and repairing of starting and charging electrical systems. - Perform various repairs including tires, safety inspections and interior/exterior components. - Diagnose and repair brake systems, steering and suspension systems. - Perform an evacuation and recharge on the AC system. - Perform maintenance on equipment. - Utilize approved vendors to obtain parts. - May up fit new vehicles with necessary equipment - Complies with applicable procedures and regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires, and disposable trash.
